FLINT -- NBC25's Bill Harris is set to embark on a journey to Philadelphia to get an exclusive look at the naval vessel that served in the Vietnam War.
The USS Edson will then depart Philadelphia on July 18 and make a two-week journey via tugboat around Nova Scotia, into the St. Lawrence Bay, down the St. Lawrence River, through Lake Erie, Ontario and Huron before finally docking in Saginaw Bay where it will become an official museum exhibit.
Over the next two weeks, NBC25 will have exclusive team coverage of this event, including stories, pictures, videos and an interactive website.
