FLINT -- The Flint Police Department is turning to the internet to help citizens report crimes.
The department is using an online police reporting system known as Coplogic for submitting non-emergency reports.
The system will allow residents to submit reports through Flint's webiste.
Once submitted, each report will be reviewed by police.
If certain criteria are met, case numbers will be assigned to detectives.
Police say the system will help them reach emergency calls faster.
