MIDLAND -- More than 100 residents were forced from their homes following a fire at a nursing home in Midland.

Officials at Brittany Manor Health Care say around 11:30 Friday night, a fire broke out after a rooftop heating and cooling unit caught fire.

All residents and staff members were able to evacuate safely.

No injuries are reported.

Officials do not have a damage estimate at this time, and do not know when residents will be able to return to their homes.
