Historic event at Houston Stadium
You can help celebrate Flint's Claressa Shield's gold medal win.
Flint Community Schools will host a community-wide celebration on Saturday September 8 to welcome home Shields.The event will be held at Houston Stadium at Northwestern High School, G-2138 Carpenter Rd. A school spokesman says details for the celebration are still being finalized and will be publicized at a later date.
