BIRCH RUN -- There are over a million requests to bring the moving wall all over America. Making it’s trip to Birch Run an unforgettable moment.

“This has been emotional, very emotional for me. I was in the Army in Vietnam and I had to look up some people. But it means so much to me and the community, said VFW Post member Barry Cusick."

Saginaw County alone lost more than fifty men in the Vietnam War.

“I was in Vietnam '69 and '70 with the headquarters company of the first battalion of the seventy seventh army. I think to me I have seen a lot of guys come through here. They take their time.. They have to think about the walk their about to make."

The wall is in chronological order of those who made the ultimate sacrifice from 1959 to 1975.

“Some of these guys are seeing this for the first time. It is awfully emotional for them to do that. It's a healing field for them, so that's what this is all about."
