LANSING -- It's been revealed.

The winner of a $337 million Powerball jackpot has stepped forward to claim his prize.

44-year-old Donald Lawson of Lapeer claimed the prize during a news conference Friday in Lansing.

Michigan Lottery officials say the recently retired railroad worker elected to take the lump-sum cash option of $224.6 million.

The father of two says he will probably travel, and probably move.

He also says the money will change his life but family will still come first.

"The rest of my family will be taken car of and I will be taken care of very well," says Lawson.

The winning ticket for the Aug. 15 drawing was sold at a Sunoco gas station in Lapeer, about 45 miles north of Detroit. The winner had one year to claim the prize.
