SAGINAW -- Members of the Saginaw community are coming together at the River View Plaza where homeless man Milton Hall was shot by police July 1st of this year.

Hundreds showed up for the rally led by local church officials and Saginaw City Manager Darnell Early.

Pastor Robert Davis led the rally and emphasized the importance of the community coming together as one.
"This is one city, one church, one community day. This is all churches from different denominations coming together for the first time in the history of Saginaw,” said Davis.

Members of the crowd remember Milton Hall and are sending a clear message.

“People in Saginaw knew him. And for them to do what they did to him is just wrong. And I am here to say to our political officials that we need to do something. They need to get on the ball and do something and do it now,” said Janet Phillips.

Pastor Davis says they are happy to hear the prosecutors are still investigating the case and people are being subpoenaed. He also added they aren’t mad… They just want answers.
