CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- President Bill Clinton energized the crowd at the Democratic National Convention Wednesday, as he vouched for President Barack Obama’s economic policies and argued Obama deserves another four years in the White House.
Obama arrived in Charlotte Wednesday afternoon, and he’s expected to accept the party’s nomination Thursday.
Meanwhile, DNC organizers announced that predictions of severe weather forced them to alter their plans to have 65,000 people watch the president’s acceptance speech at the Bank of America stadium.
The speech will now be moved into the Time Warner Cable Arena, where other DNC speakers have already taken the stage Wednesday and Tuesday.
