SAGINAW -- Reverend Al Sharpton was in Saginaw Saturday speaking to a crowd about seeing justice done for Milton Hall.

Hall is the homeless man who Saginaw police shot and killed in July of this year.

Police say Hall was acting aggressively with a knife.

Saturday, community members joined Reverend Sharpton chanting, "go justice, go peace," vowing to see justice for Hall.

In what was forecasted by local police to be a peaceful demonstration, turned into an ultimatum.

The Reverend Sharpton promising his return if legal action is not taken.

"I'm telling the world what happened to Milton Hall because it's wrong, wrong, and wrong must be corrected."

Sharpton announced that a local chapter of his civil rights organization, The National Action Network, will be established in Saginaw to bring national attention to the case.

"If you let it go here, they've set up a legal precedent that it can happen again and it will prompt the Hall case to defend the next time they do it. There's not going to be a next time because they're not going to get away with it this time."

Residents agree and want answers.

"Want a full and open investigation and whatever the truth is, if crimes are being committed by police or whoever then justice needs to be served," said Janathan Nettles.

No information has been released by the attorney general in regard to the case.
