SAGINAW -- Opening arguments in the Kenneth Bluew trial began on Tuesday at the Saginaw Circuit Court.

Bluew is charged on four counts including 1st degree premeditated murder in the strangulation death of Jenny Webb, the Bridgeport woman bearing his unborn child.

Jury members were selected last week.

The defense is working to keep the integrity of the trial and the media was prevented from hearing the questioning of potential jurors during selection.

If Bluew is convicted he will face life behind bars without the possibility of parole.

Stay with NBC25 for continuing coverage of the case as it continues.
