EARLY DETECTION 
1. Five year survival rate for all diagnosed cases of early stage (Stage 0 or1) breast cancer is over 97%
2. The overall survival rate is 89% and decreases with advanced stages of disease

SOME BREAST WARNING SIGNS 
1. A new lump or abnormal thickening of breast
2. Puckering or discoloration of skin on the breast or nipple
3. Change in size or shape of one breast
4. A steady pain in one area of the breast

IN 20'S & 30'S 
1. Self examinations every month
2. Clinical examinations every 3 years

IN 40'S & UP 
1. Self examinations every month
2. Clinical Eaminations every year
3. Mammograms every 1 to 2 years, greater frequency if high risk

HEALTHY LIVING 
1. Eat at least 5 servings of fruit and vegetables daily
2. Get regular exercise
3. Avoid smoking and consume alcohol in moderation
