A Flint gym is moving aside the equipment to host a social event on Saturday.
The Powerhouse Gym is teaming up with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flint hoping to raise at least $5,000.00 for the organization.
Tickets are just $10.00. That will get you inside and you will be served food and drinks.
There will also be a chace to sponser your favorite weightlifter in "Pennies for Pounds." Each pound he or she lifts is another penny towards the fundraiser.
The benefit is Saturday, October 20th. It runs from 6p.m.-9pm., at The Powerhouse Gym on Miller Road in Flint Township. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
