Gas prices in Michigan are below the national average for the first time since April.
GENESEE COUNTY (AP) -- Gas prices have dropped 30 cents from last week, according to AAA Michigan.
The average price in the state is $3.40 as prices in Michigan are below the national average for the first time since April.
According to gasbuddy.com, the drop is because of the seasonal change in the type of gasoline.
The cheapest gas in the Flint area is a Sunoco station on Dort Highway near Davison Road in Flint where the price is $3.25.
