As of 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning, 400 power outages still remain in Genesee County as a result of wind and rain from Hurricane Sandy.

In total, 6,000 outages still exist statewide but all power has been restored to Consumers Energy customers in Saginaw, Midland and Shiawassee counties.

Consumers urged residents to contact them if there are downed powerlines in the area.  Consumers can be reached by calling 1-800-477-5050.
