Local supplies sent to New York City for Sandy relief

There are several local efforts to help in the wake of superstorm Sandy.

Beginning Monday in Argetine Township, Arrowhead Police Emergency Vehicle Equipment will begin collecting supplies to be sent to New York fire departments.

The department is accepting medical supplies, and fire fighting tools and equipment.

You can drop off donations at the Argentine Township Fire Department.
