FLINT -- Polls opened up in Michigan at 7:00 a.m. for the 2012 presidential election. There was a lengthy line at the Flint Community Sch Bryant Center. The wait appeared to be about thirty minutes. Because of the lengthy ballot, voters are urged to give themselves extra time when heading out to the polls Tuesday.

Michigan voters will chose to re-elect Barack Obama for president or vote in Governor Mitt Romney. They will also decide yes or no on six state proposals, and vote in the U.S. Senate race between Democratic incumbent Debbie Stabenow and Republican challenger Pete Hoekstra and for justices on Michigan's Supreme Court.

Polls will close Tuesday night at 8:00 p.m.
