BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say an 18-year-old man was killed when he ran in front of an Amtrak passenger train in southeastern Michigan.
The Oakland Press and the Detroit Free Press say the crash happened about 8 p.m. Saturday in Oakland County's Bloomfield Township. The railroad crossing is about 10 miles north-northwest of Detroit.
Police didn't immediately release the name of the dead man, who lived in the township.
WWJ-AM says the train had 11 passengers aboard, and there were no injuries to them of the train's crew.
