BIRCH RUN -- The Birch Run School District bus drivers are teaming up to gather non-perishable foods and househole toiletries for the care program.

This years goal is 1,000 items.

Thanks to the students and community the group has raised more than twice that amount.

"The kids are being awesome, bringing in more than we would have ever dreamed they would. We have actually had some of our elementary students taking items out of their lunch and wanting to donate," says Birch Run bus driver, Kim Mack.
