FLINT -- Some area organizations are preparing to serve hundreds this week and they're calling it "Blessed to be a Blessing."

It's the fourth-annual Thanksgiving meal hosted by non-proft, Well of Hope and Catholic Charities.

Organizers say the dinner got its name because servers feel blessed to be able to give back to their neighbors.

"Flint is a giving community and we're just a small part of that and so this dinner is to be able to alleviate some of the pain and hurt and let our neighbors know we care and that things are going to turn around. We just want to keep hope alive," says Pastor Will Morgan of the Pentacostal Temple Apostolic Church in Flint.

The dinner is Tuesday, November 20 from 4-7p.m. at the old School of Choice building located at 517 East 5th Avenue.

Everyone is invited to come out and enjoy the free meal.
