MUNDY TOWNSHIP -- Local fire crews were busy on Wednesday morning just off US 23 at Grand Blanc Road battling a fire at a landfill that sits along the expressway.
Drivers report seeeing heavy black smoke earlier in the day.
The Mundy Township Fire Department has asked for help from several other Gensee County fire departments.
There are no reports of any major damage or anybody being hurt.
