SAGINAW -- Saginaw Public Schools is taking new steps toward educational reform by creating a new task force.
The district is seeking parents, community and business leaders to be a part of the academic advisory task force.
The goal is to explore ideas on how the district can create high-performing learning environments for the next generation.
"There are a lot of people that care about Saginaw Public Schools in this community and we want to give them the opportunity to put ideas on the table," Saginaw School District Superintendent Dr. Carlton Jenkins said.
Two more task force meetings will be held December 10th and January 14th.
