School officials and police are investigating a threat allegedly made by a Lakeville High School student.
In a letter sent home to parents on December 18, the school superintendent says a student allegedly threatened to bring a gun to school at the end of the week.

School officials say another student reported the incident.
The student who reportedly made the comments has been removed from the school as law enforcement investigates the incident.
