GRAND BLANC -- Dozens of firefighters searched Grand Blanc High School Thursday evening after reports of smoke earlier Thursday evening.
Grand Blanc Fire Chief Jim Harmes said he initiated a full response – all available units – around 5:30 p.m. to the East campus after students reported smelling smoke in the small gym.
About 35 firefighters went through the whole building to look for hot spots but found nothing.
No alarms went off. Classes are scheduled Friday.
