CLIO -- Temperatures in the 40's and rain showers Monday night make this forecast a healthy mix of everything.
Flint through the TriCities should expect temps in the low 40's tomorrow afternoon, and to remain dry until evening.
However, northern residents near West Branch, Tawas, Gladwin, etc. should get ready for a wintry mix of freezing rain changing to snow starting early tomorrow afternoon.
A few stray snowflakes should fall over the southern counties as well tomorrow morning, and expect winds to pick up very quickly and gust to near 30 mph.
As the cold front passes Tuesday, it opens the door for more of that arctic air to flood in and keep temperatures below average for most of the week.
With this, northern residents should prepare for more snow, at times blowing quite strongly, and light accumulations expected.
The next Low pressure system should arrive by Friday and bring some relief from the abnormal cold and a burst of sunshine ahead of it on Thursday.
Other than Tuesday through Tuesday night, the rest of the week should remain dry with a snowflake or two during the day.
