Fire in Flint Township this morning leaves residents out in the cold

FLINT TOWNSHIP -- Firefighters were dispatched to Westwood Village Mobile Home Park this morning to fight a fire in a home there.

It happened on the 2400 block of Northwood Drive in Flint Township.

The kitchen and the living room were consumed by the fire according to fire officials.

Firefighters tell NBC25 that they were able to put the fire out within 10 minutes of their arrival.

The residents of the home were able to make it out without injury.

The director of Westwood Village is collecting donations for the residents of the burned home at the park's main office, located at 3365 W Pasadena Ave, Flint Township.
