CLIO -- Sunshine makes a return to our area this weekend.

Although temperatures will remain below average, sun should help to erode away some of the winter woes many are still feeling.

Satellite and radar both show clearing associated with a area of high pressure headed in our direction.

A few stray snowflakes are possible through Saturday, and a few extra clouds may mix in but not enough to dominate the sky.

Meanwhile, a snowstorm is brewing and looks to slam the Ohio Valley beginning Sunday night.

Lower Michigan should only get a minor amount of snow, but any change in the upper atmosphere could slide it north.

Tune in at 6pm and 11pm tonight for this weekend and next week's forecast, and stay with NBC25 during our broadcasts and online for continuous weather coverage.
