FLINT -- Genesee County Road Commissioner John Daly is sending a message to drivers and residents to be careful as we move through recent temerature shifts.

Daly says drivers should be looking out for slippery roads, and staying away from plows as they work on snow removal.

He's also asking all of us to shovel driveways.

"If you don't want to do it several times take that snow, instead of putting it on the left side, put it on the right side," Daly said.

One more cautionary note: make sure your kids don't play in snowdrifts near the street, as plow trucks can't see them.
