GLADWIN COUNTY -- Three people have been charged in connection with the robbery at Guns and Stuff in Sage Township on Monday, March 18.

Charles Rowan, Rosalinda Martinez and Michael Bowman have each been charged with assault with an attempt to commit murder, armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery and felony firearm.  They were arraigned Friday morning.

The Gladwin County Sheriff's Department tells NBC25 Martinez first portrayed herself as a victim at the scene. However, during the investigation officials discovered that Martinez is Rowan's girlfriend.

Rowan, Martinez and Bowman allegedly stole an undisclosed amount of guns from Guns and Stuff Monday.

The sheriff's department says some of the stolen firearms have been recovered. The ATF and Gladwin County Sheriff's Department are still investigating and working to recover the remaining weapons.

The sheriff's department also learned that Rowan faked his own death earlier this month. Rowan was a known Mixed Martial Arts fighter in the Traverse City area.  Detectives said Rosalinda Martinez reportedly told Rowan's promoter and friends that he had died in a car accident in Saginaw in early March.  The sheriff's department received several tips that the MMA community held benefit fundraisers for Rowan's family.

All three suspects remain in the Gladwin County Jail.

Detectives say Richard Robinette suffered blunt force trauma to the head.  He remains in stable condition at Hurley Medical Center.
