GRAND BLANC -- Grand Blanc police have a suspect in custody in connection with a bomb threat last week.

According to police, they have arrested a 27-year-old Grand Blanc resident  in connection with a bomb threat on the Grand Blanc Public Schools.

Police are not releasing the suspect's name but have confirmed the 27 year-old man is a Grand Blanc resident who prosecutors say may have a developmental disorder.

The suspect faces felony charges including falsely reporting a bomb threat and using a computer to commit a felony. He is expected to be arraigned in 67th District Court at 11 a.m. Thursday.

They tracked down the suspect through an IP address.

Grand Blanc High School and two middle schools received an anonymous bomb threat via e-mail last week for the first day of school.

All the schools were searched by police K-9 units and deemed secure. The first day of school occurred on Tuesday without incident. Increased security was put in place.
