DAVISON -- Davison High School's student-run newscast is number one in the nation.
The DTV broadcast has won the National Scholastic Press Association Pacemaker Award, given to the best newscast in the nation.
The award was announced during the NSPA's ceremony in San Antonio, Texas.
DTV previously won the award in 2003 and 2008.
"It's a group effort. Everyone adds something to the newscast and everyone worked really hard on it. As a whole we are really proud," Davison student Chalen Bailey said.
DTV is broadcast throughout the district and local channels for Davison-area cable subscribers.
