By calling a number with these area codes, we have heard of charges as high as $2,425.00 per minute. We are also told that if this occurs it can be a real nightmare trying to get these charges reversed from your bill. It is claimed that the phone company will direct you to the out of country phone company and they will argue that they have done nothing wrong. Some of the ways you may fall prey to this is that you may receive a call that a relative is sick or a friend is in jail or something to that affect, and leave a fraudulent area code.
