The search has been turned over to Michigan State Police
Police have seized Everett Robinson who escaped from police custody last week.
ROSCOMMON COUNTY -- Authorities in Roscommon County have caught escaped prisoner Evertt Robinson.
The search concluded early Monday mroning as NBC25 learned of his capture by Michigan State Police. There will be a press conference to announce the capture at 11:30 a.m. on Monday at the Houghton Lake Post.
Search crews have combed areas in Roscommon and Arenac County as the manhunt continued since Robinson's escape last Monday.
Police say Robinson disarmed a deputy while being transported from Standish for a home invasion hearing.
Robinson reportedly grabbed the gun and seized control of the car.
Deputies later found the car abandoned on M-55 near I-75.
