Roger L-Derring Davis wanted on several felony charges

BAY CITY -- Arrests warrants have been issued for a man Bay City police say shot two other men during a dispute outside an apartment complex Wednesday afternoon.

Officers from the Bay City Police Department responded to 1100 block of N. Jackson Street near the Baytown Family Neighborhood.

The suspect who is wanted by police on multiple felony charges is Roger L-Derring Davis also known as “Lil Man”.

An arrest warrant has also been issued for Derring Davis' companion Kimberly Campbell.

Central Dispatch advised they were receiving numerous calls that several male subjects were fighting.

After arriving, the officers located two victims, one of which was taken to McLaren Regional Medical Center.

Derring Davis fled the scene prior to police arriving.

Davis is a black male, 6’ 6”, black hair/brown eyes and weighs 220 lbs. Davis maybe driving a black 2001 Chrysler, Michigan registration CC75762 and maybe in the company of a Kimberly Campbell. Campbell is wanted for questioning only.

Through their investigation, officers learned that a dispute in the parking area turned violent when one subject produced a shotgun which was discharged.

After struggling with the victims over possession of the gun, the suspect fled the scene in a dark colored 4 door passenger car. Police did seize the firearm used in this incident.

Both victims in this incident received medical treatment and were released. One of the victims was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant and lodged in the Bay County Jail.

This investigation is considered open and active; anyone having any information about this case is asked to call the Bay City Police Support Operations Division at 894-0161.
