Police in Mt. Morris Township continue to investigate a robbery that turned into a murder on Monday.
MT. MORRIS TOWNSHIP -- A robbery turned into a murder in Mt. Morris Township on Monday afternoon.
Mt. Morris Township Police Chief told MLive that the incident happened at the Westwood Heights Mobile Home.
The victim, who was shot in the chest, died shortly after being transported to Hurley Medical Center.
Reports say the victim was seen running from the scene across I-75.
Genesee County Sheriff's deputies referred all calls to the township police.
The police department was unavailable for comment on the issue as of Tuesday morning.
