NBC25 Summer Concert Series features four country bands

A quadruple threat of country music graced our presence on the NBC25 Today set Thursday morning for another edition of the Summer Concert Series.

Kicking it off was Mark Wayne Glasmire, followed by Dave Gibson then Amber Hayes and finally Tommy Steele.

Glasmire has been a winner or finalist in almost a dozen songwriting contests.

Gibson, formerly of the Gibson Miller Band. Won an Academy of Country Music Award back in 1994. He wrote six No. 1 songs including "Juke Box on my Mind".

Hayes is a rising star who is also doubles as an actress, her recent film Cowgirls and Angels stars James Cromwell and is in theaters now.

Steele just released a new hit single, "My Side of the Street", which he performed for us this morning.

You can catch all four at the Summer Happening toinght in Linden at7 pm.  The country music festival will take place at Linden High School on Silver Lake Road.
