FLINT -- Flint's Mott Community College is helping troops overseas call home by collecting old cell phones.

"Cell phones for soldiers" raises money by recycling old phones to buy prepaid calling cards for troops around the world.

The group has provided 114 million minutes of free talk time.

"To actually have access to I got a quick five minutes I can call home, kinda helps out with personal morale," Veteran's Services representative Thomas Yonan said.

To donate, stop by the Veteran's Resource Center in Mott's Prahl Center.
