SAGINAW TOWNSHIP -- The frigid weather is taking it's toll on Nouvel Catholic Central High School in Saginaw Township.

The school was closed Wednesday because of a water line break.

School officials say on the 3rd floor, a heating coil broke, rupturing a water line.

It caused water to leak from the 3rd floor all the way to the basement.

Despite the break, the damage isn't considered to be extensive, but the clean-up is.

School leaders say they hope to have the situation corrected to allow students to return to classes on Thursday.

Stay tuned to NBC 25 and www.minbcnews.com for the latest school closing information.
