DEXTER TOWNSHIP -- One year ago today a tornado touched down in the town of Dexter, changing the landscape of the town.

Events are planned to mark the anniversary of that event, including a run-walk at Hudson Mills Metropark.

Hundreds of trees felled by winds have been cleared but construction continues.

Additionally 16 new tornado sirens are up in Dexter Township and more are planned in Washtenaw County.

There were not any injuries in that March 15 tornado.
