Monday night, Mid-Michigan Veterans were honored with a balloon release. Members of the Genesee County Young Marines say the event is their way of saying “Thank you” to members of the US military both past and present.
Balloons were released from the Flint National Guard Armory in Flint. The event was organized as part of the 8th Annual Young Marines Veterans Appreciation Week.
