Some Mid-Michigan students won’t just see advertising on billboards along the side of the road, but also in their school busses.

On Wednesday night, the Saginaw Board of Education unanimously approved a two-year deal to sell ad spaces inside 43 busses. Crossroads Marketing & Consulting, of Davison, will be handling the sale of these ads. However, the ads must be approved by a special committee before they can be placed in the busses.

Thirty ad spaces per bus will sell for $10 each per month and are expected to generate $8,000 in revenue for the district each month.
