WASHINGTON (AP) -- World leaders are meeting in Washington this weekend to weigh their options on preventing future financial calamities.
President George W. Bush is hopeful that some common ground for action can be found at the G-20 summit.
There'll be a dinner Friday night and deliberations Saturday.
The stated goal of the first-ever leaders' summit of the Group of 20 this weekend is to examine the causes of the crisis and to begin mapping out principles for a response.
Former Iowa Congressman Jim Leach and former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright will represent Barack Obama.
