The Mid-Michigan school where a 6-year-old boy fatally shot a 6-year-old girl could be demolished.
The story made national headlines when Kayla Rolland was shot and killed by a classmate at Buell Elementary School in Mt. Morris eight and a half years ago.
Buell Elementary closed its doors in 2002 because of declining enrolment. According to published reports the superintendent is looking for bids to demolish the school as well as a second vacant school building.
