Saginaw Transit Authority Regional Services is announcing more than 1,000,000 passenger trips to the residents of Saginaw. STARS officials say, the increase in fuel costs, tough economic times, and the cost of maintaining a vehicle were factors in the increase of trips. Sylvester Payne, STARS General Manager, says "We are pleased to be able to provide a service that impacts so many during this difficult time in all of our lives."
