(AP) -- VENTURA, Calif. - A Michigan man allegedly enraptured with a Ventura County woman after reading her MySpace profile has been ordered to stand trial for felony stalking. George Costales was allegedly obsessed with the 29-year-old woman, sending unwanted e-mails to her for than a year before showing up with flowers at her Thousand Oaks doorstep on Nov. 5. Superior Court Judge James Cloninger ordered the 39-year-old Warren, Mich., welder to trial after Tuesday's preliminary hearing. He remains jailed with bail set at $500,000 pending arraignment Dec. 9.
Sheriff's Detective Eric Buschow says the woman repeatedly attempted to block his access to her MySpace profile. Costales allegedly e-mailed video clips of himself that included graphic sexual comments.
