NBC's Joel Connable offers some websites that might make your holiday shopping a little easier this year.
It's one of the coolest shopping web sites I have ever seen. Dealalerter.com does the window shopping for you. "It keeps going in every day and checking your item and checking stores everyday and when it finds your item at the price you want," says consumer advocate Edgar Dworsky.
Slickdeals.com and fatwallet.com are two other websites that will help you find bargains. "There veteran bargain hunters talk about some of the greatest deals. For example, people found a dyson vacuum cleaner for 149 dollars," Dworsky commented.
Sundaysaver.com will help you with finding the coupons you missed in the sunday paper. "Most sunday papers have the circulars right there. You click the link and you can see everything that's on sale for the week," Dworsky stated.
You can also listen to what salescircular.com will do. "Let's say you're looking for gps units. you put in your zip code and it will show you all the gps units on sale in your area."
But with so many sales, how do you know if you're getting the best price? You go to pricespider.com.
And when you buy what you want, you need to ship it, right? We have a web site that will save you money with that as well, shipgooder.com.
