Senator Deb Cherry tells NBC25 news the rescue loan is vital to the country's future.
"I am thrilled to see that the US House approved a $14 billion rescue loan for our nation's troubled auto industry on Wednesday. This loan is vital to Michigan and our entire country and further inaction will have a devastating impact on workers, families and the economy. I urge the US Senate to concur without delay. Further fighting and stall tactics on the part of some senators will be a let down to our entire nation," Senator Deb Cherry stated.
