LANSING, MI (AP) -- A microbrewery that plans to make beer, distilled spirits and wine and a manufacturer of fuel-efficient buses are among the businesses coming to Michigan. Gov. Jennifer Granholm on Monday announced the tax credits granted by the Michigan Economic Growth Authority.

Fisher Coachworks LLC plans to build a plug-in hybrid bus in Livonia that gets nearly triple the fuel efficiency of other models.

Northern United Brewing LLC will work with local farmers to get the hops, grapes, juniper and other ingredients it needs to make alcholic beverages in Ann Arbor, Dexter and Peninsula Township.

Among others getting tax credits were a wind turbinemanufacturer, several auto suppliers and HoMedics, which is developing ways to wirelessly charge electronic devices.
