Flint Mayor Don Williamson has lost his battle to stop the recall election against him. Reports say that the Michigan Court of Appeals says Williamson did not have the guaranteed right to appeal the judge’s decision.

Williamson asked for the recall to be dismissed, stating that 2 of the 7 allegations against him occurred during his first term.

More than 14,000 voter signatures were collected this year to put the recall on the ballot.
