The gift giving spirit, was in the air today in Flint.

As "A Cut Above Barbershop" gave 20 kids free haircuts.

It's part of the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program of Greater Flint.

Organizers say they wanted to make these young boys feel good about themselves and let them know people care.

"A Cut Above is a phenomenal barbershop in the community and we are gracious that they opened their doors to the young boys in this program," said David McGhee, project coordinator of 100 Men 100 Boys.

"We were supposed to meet at 1:30, one of the boys was actually there an hour early."

Big Brothers Big Sisters is looking for mentors for the boys in their program.
