GENESEE VALLEY SHOPPING CENTER -- It's the day before Christmas. Who is left on your list? Some Christmas shoppers say they love the last minute rush.
"Generally I'm done earlier than this but just came quicker than what I thought - with the snow storm too - kinda got caught up couldn't get things done," Ed, a shopper at the Genesee Valley Mall, stated.
Trying to find the perfect last minute gift, isn't always a simple task. That is why some take the easy way out and purchase gift cards. "They are convenient I feel they are a little impersonal sometimes but they are convenient and they like it. It's easier for them to go buy what they want instead of something I would pick out," Debi, another shopper, stated.
According to the National Retail Federation, one of every five shoppers this year waited until the last few days to purchase their gifts. But for some, shopping on Christmas Eve happens every year. "You know I start shopping in June and I finish on December 24th that's how it always goes," Jodi stated as she walked through the halls of the Genesee Valley Mall.
Last minute shoppers take advantage of the last minute deals, all while keeping that Christmas cheer.
